The Apple I was developed by Steve Wozniack, Steve Jobs, and Ron Wayne in Wozniack’s home in Los Altos, California. Wozniack built the circuit board, Wayne wrote the operation manual, and Jobs advertised the Apple I. It was first demoed on May 1976 at the Homebrew Computer Club. Byte Shop’s owner, Paul Terell promised to buy 50 of the first fully assembled computers for $500.00 each. Later the Apple I sold for $666.66 before it was replaced by the Apple II which was a more practical and user friendly model.

The Apple 1 computer in our collection is a modern working replica. Steve Wozniak's signature is genuine.
