Dictaphone Electronic Dictating Machine

Company:
Dictaphone Corporation of New York
This machine, like the previous machine, was manufactured by the Dictaphone Corporation of New York. With an attached microphone the dictator would speak into the machine and it would be able to record the sound. This machine uses thin paper sheets, form no. B440, to transcribe the sound. As a later model, this Dictaphone has new capabilities to play back, adjust the speed of the recording, and can start and stop if needed. It would be used for things like court hearing records.
