As the successor of the Osborne 1 the Osborne Executive an upgrade, containing all of the good features and fixing some flaws of the Osborne 1. The Osborne Executive came with the same impressive array of software as it did before with the 1.By updating the operating system to CP/M version 3.0, it could now support bank-switching memory giving it the capability to use programs that used more RAM. The Executive now included a cooling fan and could also emulate certain models of computer terminal which was useful for dial-up access to remote systems. The most popular use of the Osborne Executive was to use it for portable business presentations and project demos for clients.
